As there is plenty of water, stop for lunch and have a rest next to the Chi stream. After lunch, the path crosses the Chi stream and goes from then on steep up. First through hot and cultivated fields, then through cool and pleasant pine forests until we reach the Aye Camp. On arrival take a break and visit the nearby Chin village. Shy and cautiously you will be invited to have a cup of rice wine, which will help both parties to warm up. Women were in colorful traditional costumes, the older ones have heavily tattooed faces and were smoking tobacco pipes, and some of the men still wearing pure golden earrings, inherited by their fathers.
