Day 01: Arrival to Yangon (D)
Upon arrival at the airport, pick up and transfer to your hotel. Relax then take a half-day tour of Yangon.
Yangon, formerly known as Rangoon, is still a relatively quiet and charming city. Its impressive colonial and spiritual heritage makes Yangon one of the most fascinating and authentic capitals of South-East Asia. Visit Shwe Taw Myat Zedi (Buddha’s Replica Tooth Relic Pagoda), Kaba Aye Pagoda (World Peace Pagoda) built as a memorial of the 1954-56 sixth Buddhist Synod, is located on Kaba Aye Pagoda Road, Mayangon Township. And then proceed to Chaukhtatkyi Reclining Buddha Image: 230 ft (70 m) long in the pose of rest, the original image was built in 1907 and Shwedagon Pagoda: world-famous glistening gold stupa towering over the city with spearing to a height of 326 fees. Dinner will be served in Karaweik Palace Restaurant watching Myanmar Dances.

Day 02: Yangon – Fly to Heho (B, L)
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for a domestic flight to Heho. Upon arrival, transfer to Kalaw, a fresh and delightful hill station, on the rim of the Shan Plateau. On the way stop at a farming village where Pa-O and Shan people live. Nearby we will visit a small cave where Buddhist devotees set up several Buddha statues. After lunch at a local restaurant start with a walking tour through this peaceful place with an atmosphere reminiscent of the colonial area. Nowadays the town is a market center for ethnic minorities from surrounding regions.
Overnight in Kalaw.
Day 03: Kalaw (B, L)
Breakfast at the hotel, a 45 minutes drive will bring us to Myegya where we will meet our trekking guide. After approximately 3 hours of hiking through tea-and cheroot leaf plantation, we will reach Taung Myint Gyi village. Have a look around the Pao village, enjoy a lunch box and visit the beautiful monastery. Continue walking for another three hours through beautiful landscapes and small villages to Yasakyi village, a Palaung hill tribe village. The animist Palaung trip was amongst the earliest inhabitants in Myanmar and has kept to their tradition of living with several families in ‘long-houses’, cultivating cash crops and tanapet for Burmese cheroot cigars.
Overnight stop at the Palaung monastery or in a local house.
Day 04: Kalaw – Pindaya (B, L)
Today, we will have a chance to enjoy a Myanmar-style breakfast. Those who want to do it all can start early morning with the climb to Yasakyi peak (3 hours return). Hike to another settlement and small mountain villages in the region before descending to Pindaya. You have a choice between several trails taking 4 to 8 hours trekking to reach the valley. Picnic lunch on the way.

Day 05: Pindaya – Inle (B, L)
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Pindaya Caves – a unique site housing thousands of Buddha images placed there by pilgrims over the centuries. Drive to Nyaung Shwe and transfer approx.
After lunch, we start an excursion by boat on Inle Lake to see the famous leg rowers, typical floating gardens, local methods of fishing, village life, and magnificent scenery. Visit the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, one of the main principle shrines in Myanmar and dating back to the 18th century, the Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery, famous for its jumping cats trained by monks, and the weaving village of Inpawkhon.
Overnight in Inle.
Day 06: Inle – Yangon (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Depending on the water level; an excursion by boat to the Western Shore of Inle Lake will take us to the beginning of a stair path leading to the hidden and unknown Inn Thein Pagoda complex. In the evening, transfer to the airport for a domestic flight back to Yangon.
Overnight in Yangon.
Day 07: Yangon – Departure (B)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Free time at your leisure until we transfer to the airport for the departure flight.
